greetings!

about me:

  • My mom gave me the name Sekayi Anika, which means laughter and goodness, and it fits me perfectly. I'm all about hearty laughs and surrounding myself with goodness—whether it's family, friends, or the great outdoors where I can connect with the spirits of the earth, fire, air and water.

  • I'm what you might call a serial crafter—willing to try anything that looks fun at least once! As a manifestation of the divine creator, I love to use my hands to make and build. Embodying that creative spirit brings me great joy—along with a handy power tool! It was in the flow of creativity where I remembered that I, too, am a divine creator who had forgotten that it’s okay to color outside the lines. And it was outside the conditioned lines of my life where I began my journey of healing and transformation.

  • When inspiration hits, I love pouring my heart out onto paper, sharing my thoughts, feelings, and emotions. With a little encouragement from my big sister, Yolanda, I even took the plunge and self-published my first book, #imnowriter. It's a mix of words and pictures that capture my journey of remembrance, surrender, and transformation.

  • My ukuthwasa journey began in April 2020, but the seeds of my spiritual reclamation were sown long before that. During this process, I had the honor of co-authoring Sister Armor: Healing in Community, where I shared the beginnings of my healing journey and the profound calling to embrace the South African Sangoma tradition. My chapter, "A Journey of Remembering: Awakening to My Ancestral Calling," dives deep into the twists and turns that guided me to this point of unlearning, healing, and aligning with my divine purpose.

So, that's a bit about me—let me know who you are. Send me an email at gogo@intentualliving.com and let's embark on this journey of healing and self-discovery together!

Gogo Moloi

I am Gogo Moloi WaYah Ngoba. As a Sangoma, I have been chosen by my ancestors to carry their sacred medicine and facilitate healing not just for myself, but for my family and my community. My assignment? Well, it's all about nudging you to color outside the lines of your life and rediscover the beautifully divine masterpiece that you truly are.
